Why financial planning?
For more than three decades, I’ve been part of the financial planning and investment industry. Along the way, I discovered something important: most people don’t need more jargon—they need someone who can cut through the noise and speak their language.
That’s where I come in. My gift is helping clients make sense of complex planning issues in plain English and catching those little moments when miscommunication might otherwise slip through the cracks.
At Monson Wealth Management, I wear two hats: I lead our marketing efforts and I assist
families with their estate planning through Wealth.com. What I love most is not just the planning—it’s the people. I thoroughly enjoy building long-term relationships with our clients and walking alongside them through life’s milestones.
Personal Life
What is Linn like outside of work?
Well, for starters, I think Excel should be the sixth love language. (Yes, I said it.)
Family is my heartbeat. My husband and I are parents to five children and grandparents to six wonderful grandchildren—and I’m always hoping for more. We spend much of our free time at our cabin in the Blue Mountains, our favorite retreat.
At home, the pets outnumber the people. I have more cats than I want to admit, and one of my dogs, Zeus, often joins me at the office to greet clients. My husband and I also founded Mighty Meow Kitten Rescue, because our love for animals runs deep.
I’m also proud of my heritage: I’m a first-generation American, born to a Norwegian family, and English is actually my second language.
Life is busy, full, and sometimes chaotic—but it’s exactly the kind of life I love.
